Facebook now gives everyone the option to embed posts in to their website or blog, just like I've done here in the example below, by providing code to paste in to your site. Like and share the Embedded Post directly from your web page Embedded Posts display just like they do on Facebook, with the ability to show pictures, videos, hashtags, and other content. People can interact with Embedded Posts by: Here are my top 3 benefits to using Embedded Posts:
1. Increasing Facebook Engagement Embedding a Facebook post on your blog will help increase the engagement level of your Facebook page. Embeddable posts are interactive, so your blog readers can share your content by embedding the post on their own blog or by clicking the "share" button to share your content to their friends. They can also "like" your Facebook page from an embeddable post (go on, give it a try...click on my embedded post above). 2. Bringing Facebook Content to Website Visitors This can be effective for Facebook pages that don't have a lot of fans, but do have an established website with descent traffic. It is easier to bring the Facebook content to the visitors than it is to get the visitors to Facebook. In the end, this will drive Facebook engagement and "likes" and make it much more effective when you do post on Facebook. 3. Keeping Your Website Content Fresh Embedded posts are a great way to share timely information from Facebook directly on your website or blog. They are a new way to keep your businesses website fresh with timely information, updates and other engaging content without having to enter that information twice in two different places. Do you see Embedded Posts as a necessary inclusion in your digital marketing strategy? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
