The prestige associated with winning a business award and being recognised as a leader is intrinsically important in many industries. Logos, trophies, plagues, news articles, website placements and social media exposure can give award winners that extra profile needed to stand out from their competitors.
Whilst nominating and writing a submission for a business award may seem like very hard graft, the benefits associated with the award process far out way the time and expense of entering. The process of curating all your business plans, marketing plans, training, customer service strategies etc. can be both a motivational and cathartic process. Assessing and reviewing your processes in order to formulate your entry can in itself be of great value to your business
The key to winning an award is to give the judges exactly what they are asking for. Answer questions strictly to guideline, attend award seminars or view webinars. Form a team of contributors and continue to re-evaluate your content. Stick to the word count and formatting rules and make sure your submission is proof read several times. If you are unsure about how to answer a question seek guidance.
